Take a trip to Denver before you’re dead

One thing that I have always wanted to do was to visit the Rockies and I have recently discovered that Denver is a great place to do that from. Denver is the highest City in America and as such is known as the mile high city. The beauty of the place is that it manages to blend the old style of the old west with a modern cosmopolitan feel. I really wanted to discover the old America, but I also wanted my home comforts and decent coffee, so maybe this was the perfect place for me!

The only difficulty for me was persuading my partner to be a part of my trip. For a start she didn’t like flying, and she also didn’t like America, although she had never been there before! It really annoys me when people take a disliking to a place without even seeing it but that was my girlfriend.

Despite the fact that I thought she wouldn’t come with me I still brought the subject up in the hope that she could be persuaded. To my surprise, she told me that she would come as long as I footed the bill, and although she didn’t think she would like it, she realised it would be ridiculous not to even go there to find out.

I managed to find some Denver flights online and ordered them to come in the post. The moment they arrived I started preparing for my adventure.
